A great drill for a lifetime is practice swinging the club
with your eyes closed. Swinging with your eyes closed will put
your body senses into the feel mode. During this closed eye drill,
you can do whatever you want with your golf swing. If you want to feel a good shoulder turn, square club face, and
inside/outside path, head still or steady, etc., you can isolate these
movements with your eyes closed. Do these movements without hitting
golf balls. When you play, take one thought, feel it, and execute
the swing with feel. Practicing with your eyes closed will
develop awareness of feel and how feel works to improve your game. You will be amazed how this type of practice transitions
positive results into your actual golf swings. The feel type swing
will bring out the best in you. The game will be fun, and your
time on the golf course
will be enjoyable. Try it; I know you will like it!
