It's Time for Feel!

Bubba Watson's "Technology"

Technology. Ask Bubba Watson, two time Masters Champion about how he uses technology to help his game. The answer is zilch, nothing, nadda or forget about it! He is one of the PGA Tour players who play with feel for every shot. His fun and carefree attitude with a feel golf swing keeps us watching him on TV. He is entertaining and fun to watch because most golfers would like to play with a feel golf swing like Bubba. Well, you can play with feel.

It’s all about feel, fun and letting it go! That’s right, letting it go. While performing athletic activities, it’s important to allow your body and mind to be relaxed and swing with feel. Do not be over technical or thinking about too many issues, just learn to swing with feel. The time for you to complete a full swing is less than two seconds. How much can a player think about in two seconds? An overload of information during your golf swing feel, the better you play. Let’s look a few ideas that can make you will create failure and dissatisfaction. The more you swing with develop more feel in your golf game.

A great drill for a lifetime is practice swinging the club with your eyes closed. Swinging with your eyes closed will put your body senses into the feel mode. During this closed eye drill, you can do whatever you want with your golf swing. If you want to feel a good shoulder turn, square club face, and inside/outside path, head still or steady, etc., you can isolate these movements with your eyes closed. Do these movements without hitting golf balls. When you play, take one thought, feel it, and execute the swing with feel. Practicing with your eyes closed will develop awareness of feel and how feel works to improve your game. You will be amazed how this type of practice transitions positive results into your actual golf swings. The feel type swing will bring out the best in you. The game will be fun, and your time on the golf course will be enjoyable. Try it; I know you will like it!
